Providing students with opportunities to reflect upon their work is really important. One of our star teachers uses the organizer below to help her students “reflect on growth instead of looking at a final score.” She suggests having students look at numbers side by side so they can identify where improvements were made or where they need additional support.
By using the ThinkCERCA's rubrics to guide each reflection point in the school year, students are able to both align their work to standards and practice metacognitive skills by reviewing their progress, ensuring they are working towards consistent goals.
For benchmark tracking and overall reflection, students can use our Student Reflection Sheet. For more detailed tracking lesson to lesson, students can use our Student Progress Monitoring Sheet.
