Accessing ThinkCERCA has never been easier!
The login process through Canvas into ThinkCERCA is automatic, resulting in a seamless process for students. Regardless of if they are a new or returning student, the following steps are exactly the same.
How Students Login through Canvas and Navigate into ThinkCERCA
1.) Students will log into their Canvas account with their Canvas credentials.
2.) Students will then select the ThinkCERCA card from the Dashboard.
3.) The Courses tab will load. From the Courses submenu, students will select Modules.
4.) Under the ThinkCERCA Module, students may choose a to go directly to their ThinkCERCA
Student Dashboard or any direct lesson link their teacher has provided to them.
5.) When prompted “This tool needs to be loaded in a new browser window.” students will
click the button below to “Load … in a new window”. This automatically logs them into
How Students Join A ThinkCERCA Class
6.) A new tab or window will open, loading the student’s ThinkCERCA Dashboard. If this is the
student's first time logging in they will be prompted to join a class with the class code
provided by their teacher. Returning students may add additional classes by scrolling
down to the bottom of their dashboard and pressing the button “Add Another Class”. Again
they will be prompted to enter another class code provided by their teacher.
How Students Access Assignments
7.) Once students have joined a ThinkCERCA class their ThinkCERCA Student Dashboard
will display the lessons their teacher has assigned to them. They may simply click on any
of their assignments to begin.
How Students Logout
8.) Logging out of Canvas will not automatically log students out of ThinkCERCA. Students on
a shared device should be sure to logout of ThinkCERCA fully by navigating to the
drop-down menu in the top right, selecting their name, then press “Logout”. Or from within
an assignment, they may press logout from the top right of the menu at any time.
Once logged out from ThinkCERCA, students may then logout of Canvas.
