Determining each student's reading level lets you assign lessons tailored to their skills and needs in a progression that will encourage improvement. To help you accurately level your students, ThinkCERCA offers Premium subscribers a Leveling Assessment as one of the available Benchmark Assessments. (Note for Basic subscribers: We recommend that you rely on your background knowledge of your students in conjunction with any of the assorted resources available outside the ThinkCERCA platform to make leveling decisions.)
1. Assign a Leveling Assessment to your students (instructions here).
2. After your students have completed the assignments included in the Leveling Assessment, you may review the results of their work in the Leveling Assessment report under the Insights tab.
3. Based on those results, you can then assign students to the appropriate reading groups via the dropdown list under each student's name.
