While you can assign ThinkCERCA's Leveling Assessment to help you assess student readiness levels, many schools prefer to leverage their STAR Reading data.
The STAR Reading test is a computer adaptive test that measures growth in comprehension and analysis of literary, informational, and argumentative texts. After completing the STAR Reading test, students are provided with a scaled score from 0-1400. This scaled score provides a quantitative measure of readiness and indicates the complexity of texts that students are ready to tackle.
